As an organisational development institute, ITD uses participatory action research as our preferred theory of change to describe the activities that take place to initiate and carry out successful and transformative organisational change.

Driven by our motto of Transformation through Participation, we manage to achieve success by adhering to a cycle of engagement with our clients.

Furthermore, an appreciative inquiry approach is used to influence real dilemmas and challenge the status quo to excel beyond the current state – problems and a search for excellence are challenged from a positive appreciative perspective.

At the end of the process we aim to exit the project leaving our clients empowered with their own improved ability to manage transformative change.
